Agnes B. LaRonge, age 100, of Hayward, died Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Golden Living Center – Valley of Hayward.
Agnes Bertha LaRonge was born, March 20, 1914 in Sand Lake, WI, the daughter of Benjamin and Catherine (Martin) Gokey.
She is survived by son Thorne Francis (Sylvia) LaRonge; daughters Jeanette (Richard) Morgan, Faye (Richard) Wollert, Roberta (Richard) Kestell, Judy (Richard) Sprague, Roxanne LaRonge; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; brother Theodore (Teddy) Juantia Gokey.
Agnes was preceded in death by parents Benajamin and Catherine Gokey; husband Dudley F. LaRonge; son Dudley A. (Letha); brothers Benjamin-Butch (Mary); Gregory (Betty); Emil- Bunny (Sylvia); and John (Norma); sisters Marcella (Ernest-PeaSoup) Guibord; Pauline (Edgar) Isham; Marie (Archy) Corbine; Loretta (LaMar) Huddleston; Izetta (Jim) Ulry; Isabel (Butch) Weiss and Georgina (Arnold Schmit), (Corky) Sossaman.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 5, 2015 at St. Francis Solanus Indian Mission in Reserve with Fr. Gregory Hopefl officiating and music provided by Sister Felissa Zander. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Pineview Funeral Service, with a scripture service at 6:30 p.m. and again from 9:00 – 10:30 a.m., Thursday, February 5 prior to the service at the funeral home.
A special thank you and appreciation goes to everyone at Golden Living Nursing Home for all the care, love and comfort they provided to Aggie in her journey to her final resting place with her Lord.
Honorary casket bearers will be Agnes' grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
