Alan Miller, age 57, of New Post, WI died Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Heritage Manor in Rice Lake, WI.

Al Miller was born September 30, 1960 in Hayward, WI the son of Burleigh and Mary (Taylor) Miller. He graduated from LCO High School in 1979. Al lived in New Post his whole life and worked various jobs around the area. He enjoyed hunting & fishing, and make maple syrup.

He is survived by his son Alan Robert Miller; one grandson; siblings Clyde Miller Sr., Burleigh (Renee) Miller Jr., Brenda Miller (Alfred DeMarr), Robert Miller and Doug (Dorthea) Potack; many nephews & nieces.

Al was preceded in death by his parents Burleigh & Mary; brothers Duane, Rick & Brian Miller.

Tribal Funeral Rites were held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 14, 2018 at New Post Community Center in New Post. Jerry Smith officiated. Burial was in Whitefish Cemetery. Visitation began at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 13 ^th at New Post Community Center.

Honorary casket bearers were Bob Allen, Gary Haack, Rich Hollen and Uncle Teed.

Casket bearers were Mark Tainter, Tom Tainter, Christopher Villiard, Robert Villiard, Jim White and Matt White.
