Alan M. Nickence, age 49, of LCO, WI died Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Solvay Hospice House in Duluth, MN.

Alan Matthew Nickence was born May 28, 1969 in Milwaukee, WI the son of Bonita Nickence. He grew up and attended school in Simi Valley, CA. Alan spent most of his life in California then lived to Hayward for the past eight years. He worked for Jack Links in Minong in maintenance.

He is survived by his significate other Carolyn Isham; mother Bonita Nickence; son Kathan Schrader; daughter Alayna LaRonge; four grandchildren; brother Roger Heinicke Jr.; sister Lisa Dodd.

Alan was preceded in death by his step-father Roger Heinicke Sr.

Tribal Funeral Rites were held 9:00 a.m., Friday, January 18, 2019 at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward. Lee "Obizaan" Staples officiated. Burial was in New Post Cemetery. Visitation began at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, January 17 ^th at the funeral home.

Casket bearers were be Ryan Carley, Adrian Nickence, Clint Price, Dustin Price, Tony Price & Jerry Shibilski.
