Obituary

Alan L. Zimbrick, age 56 of Springbrook, died Saturday, October 27, 2012 at his home.

Alan Lee was born February 4, 1956 in Niles, IL, the son of Franklin Zimbrick and Beverly (Britz) Carlson. He graduated Park Center High School in 1974, then attended North Hennepin Technical College for landscaping. Alan enlisted and served in the U.S. Army. After his Service he worked at Lino Lake Correctional Facility for several years then worked at Turtle Lake Casino in valet. Alan loved his family, four legged furry friends, nature, his arts and crafts, reading, music, cooking and Al never lost his love of learning.

He is survived by his father Franklin and his wife Brenda; sisters Joni (Todd) Nelson, Randa (John) Prior, Molly (Dave) Redick, Teresa Zimbrick; nephews & nieces Ryan, Greta, Amanda, Brad, Nick, Matt, Caleb and Annebell; great nephews Brycen and Jace

Alan was preceded in death by his mother Beverly.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward. Rev. Marvin Wilber will officiate. Military Honors will be accorded by LCO AMVETS Post 1998. Visitation will be held from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. on Thursday prior to services at the funeral home.

Honorary Bearers will be Duane Isham, Richard Kraft Jr., Frank Lynk, Todd Nelson, John Prior and David Redick
