Alfred Roy Gougé Jr., age 56, of Lac Courte Oreilles, passed away Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Hennepin Healthcare in Minneapolis, MN.

Alfred was born April 26, 1967, in Chicago, IL, the son of Alfred Sr. and Dorothy (Butler) Gougé. He attended school in Minneapolis. Slugger worked as a roofer and in his free time he enjoyed wood working.

He is survived by his sister Cheryl Gougé, two nephews Jerret & Rory; many aunts & uncles.

Slugger was preceded in death by his parents; nephew Cody; and aunts & uncles.

Tribal Funeral Rites will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 4, 2023, at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward. Gary Quaderer Sr. will officiate. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, August 3rd at the funeral home.

Honorary casket bearers will be Carrie Lee Butler, Sarah Lee Butler, Jerret Gougé & Rory Langbecker.

Casket bearers will be Dave Butler, Gary Butler, Larry Butler, Tony Butler, Barry LaRonge & Mark LaRonge.
