Alvin E. Froemel, age 82, of LCO, died Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Care Partners in Hayward.
Alvin Froemel was born September 21, 1934 in Hayward, WI, the son of Herman and Clara (Corbine) Froemel. He grew up and attended schools in Reserve, Hayward and Superior. Alvin was united in marriage to Louise Thayer on August 27, 1955. He worked for Cornwell Corp. in Superior, Fuller in Hayward, Chicago Danly Machines, Cholar in Hayward and LCO Development. Alvin retired in 1996.
He is survived by his daughter Reone Gheen; step-son Richard Froemel; brother Richard Froemel; sisters Dorothy Sharon, Barbra Wallace, Clara Jalowitz; many nephews nieces and cousins.
Alvin was preceded by his parents and his wife Louise.
Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 3, 2017 at St. Francis Solanus Indian Mission in Reserve with Father Gregory Hopefl officiating. Music was provided by Sister Felissa Zander. Burial was in St. Francis Cemetery with Military Honors accorded by LCO AmVETS Post 1998. Visitation was held from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Sunday, April 2nd at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward and again from 9:00 – 10:30 a.m., Monday April 3rd at the funeral home.
Casket bearers were Charles Belille, Mick Belille, Stuart Belille, Alan Froemel, Thomas Gheen and Gary Quaderer.
