Alvin W. Gehrig Jr., age 71, of Birchwood, WI, died Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at his home.

Alvin Walter Gehrig Jr. was born October 15, 1950, in Aurora, IL, the son of Marion (Hansen) and Alvin Gehrig Sr. In his youth he loved baseball and his dream was to be a professional baseball player. Alvin was an avid outdoor sportsman.

He is survived by his sisters Sherron Tunney & Beverly (Charles) DiVito; many nephews & nieces; and family friend Evie Joslin.

Alvin was preceded in death by his parents; sister Marlene Joan Gehrig; and his grandparents.

A Memorial Gathering was held from 12:00 - 3:00 p.m., Saturday, May 14, 2022 at Bluegill Bar and Grill in Birchwood.
