Anna Marie E. Thayer, age 31, of Lac Courte Oreilles, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022, in Phoenix, AZ.

Anna Marie Enciso Thayer was born June 15, 1990, on Angeles City, Philippines, the daughter of Mark Thayer and Charito Byrd. She was a creative, gifted soul that shone brightly through her writing, drawing, and music. Friends and family knew Anna as someone with a huge heart who was fiercely loyal, free-spirited, and had a passion to explore the world - always seeking out new experiences and people. Anna had a bond with her sister Marlene that was undeniably special, even beyond sisterhood. Their love for each other is one that most do not attain in a lifetime and will remain beyond Anna's journey. Through this love, we all will always carry Anna's spirit with us and continue to shine her beautiful light in this world. Anna's bright light and big heart left us too soon, but we will always remember her kindness, love, and laughter. We are
forever grateful for the time we shared with her.

She is survived by her parents; sister Marlene Thayer; brothers David Cunningham & Richard Cunningham; nephews & nieces Marques, Zeke, Mila & Sophia; grandmother Gilda Pajalla; and many aunts, uncles & cousins of the families Thayer, Enciso, DeBrot, Smith, Bearheart and Tainter.

Anna Marie was preceded in death by her grandparents Thomas & Myrtle Thayer and Antonio Enciso.

A funeral gathering was held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 30, 2022, at New Post Community Center. Burial was in New Post Cemetery.

Honorary casket bearers were Tim DeBrot Sr., Jim Smith Sr. & Jim Smith Jr.

Casket bearers were David Cunningham, Richard Cunningham, Tim DeBrot Jr., Josh Kingfisher, Jeremy Quagon & Tony Thayer.
