Anna M. Mustache, age 66, of Hayward, walked on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire, WI.
Anna Marie Heath was born September 19, 1955, in Keshena, WI, the daughter of Roger Annamitta and Sadie Wauposse. She was a member of the Migizi Clan and a 2 nd Degree member of the Midewiwin Lodge. Anna is a proud graduate of the Haskell Indian Nations University in Lawrence, KS. She worked at various LCO Enterprises, most recently she retired from the Sevenwinds Casino. Anna loved spending time with her only grandson Evan.
She is survived by her husband Lyle Mustache; daughter Shelby Heath; grandson Evan Heath; father Roger; the Barber Family; siblings Louise (Gary) Varga, Sonja Petonquot, Victoria Stone & Hope Waupoose; special friend Anna Merritt.
Anna was preceded in death by her mother Sadie; and siblings Regina Annamitta, Vanessa Stone & Albert Waupoose III.
Tribal Funeral Rites were held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at Big Drum Ceremonial Center in Lac Courte Oreilles. Chato "Ombishkebines" Gonzalez officiated. Burial was in Round Lake Cemetery. Services began at 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 7 th at Big Drum Ceremonial Center with a feast being held at 8:00 p.m..
Honorary casket bearers were Lonnie Barber, Douglas Coffman Sr., Daniel Grover, Joe Post Grover, Carmilla Mustache & Donald Trepania.
Casket bearers were Terry Barber, Jason Carley, Steven Clause, Douglas Coffman Jr., Samuel Gonzalez & Will Rice.
