Arthur J. Schmock Jr., age 41, of Hayward, died Sunday, August 25, 2013 in Hayward.

Arthur John Schmock was born in Minneapolis, MN on May 15, 1972, the son of Arthur and Judith (Thomson) Schmock. Lil' Art graduated from Hayward High School in 1990. He worked at LCO Housing Authority for 17 years and was currently employed at Butterfield Well and Pump. Lil' Art enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially his many nieces and nephews but most of all he loved the Green Bay Packers.

He is survived by his parents Art & Judy Schmock; sisters Suzanne (Fred) Belille, Tina (Ed) Schmock, Christine (Wayne) Wade; brother Shane Schmock; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces and his little buddy Trent.

Art was preceded in death by his grandparents Ray & Liz Schmock, Jack & Harriet Thomson, uncles George "Butch" Ross, Roger Schmock, John Thomson and aunt Yvonne Gregory.

Honorary bearers will be Chase Belille, Fred Belille, Jay (Chrissy) Froemel, Kevin Froemel, Matt Foremel, long time friend Renea Froemel, Dan Lessard, Mark Phillips, Ed Potack, David Ross, Bob Schmock, Ronnie Spreckles and Steve Strueble.

A Memorial Gathering will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 29 at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward with a service held at 12:00 noon.
