Beatrice "Marge" Gogian, age 85, of Hayward, died on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at her home.

Marge was born in Philadelphia, PA on December 13, 1927, the daughter of George "The Turk" and Isabelle (Ousdigian) Gogian. She was raised in Hayward and graduated from Hayward High School. Marge graduated from Chevy Chase Junior college in Maryland, and also Traphagen School of Design in New York, after which time she began her career as fashion designer in New York. She returned to Hayward to help her parents with the family business, "The Turk's Inn", which was established in 1934. Marge's special touch made everyone feel like family whenever they visited. She traveled the world with her dad and has told many stories of her adventures. Marge and her dad even attended the inauguration of President John F. Kennedy. She was a very special lady and will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her cousins Maline Broburg, Harriet Balian, Elizabeth Seropian and Dr. Lucy Rorke-Adams, other relatives and many special friends.

Marge was proceeded in death by her parents.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 Noon, Friday, March 1, 2013 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Hayward with Father Philip Juza officiating and music provided by Kathy Naylor, Deanna Lancaster and Larry Jerome. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Hayward. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon on Friday, prior to Mass at church.

Honorary casket bearers are Dr. Lloyd Baertsch, Bud Davis, Dr. John Decker, Tom Duffy Sr., Jack Frisch, Mark Frisch, Richard Gillis, Jack Moreland, Dennis Rasmussen, Mike Scaminasi, Jeff Speros and Bill Southern.

Casket bearers are Dan Eder, George Fall, Larry Jerome, Todd Shuman, Tweed Shuman and Bruce Willand.
