Bernice S. Dickison, age 93, of Hayward, died Friday, November 16, 2012 at Golden Living Valley of Hayward.
Bernice Stella was born in Hayward, WI, on September 3, 1919, the daughter of John "Girard" and Esther (Corbine) DeNomie. She grew up and attended school in Reserve and Hayward. Bernice worked as a key punch operator for Prudential Insurance retiring in 1985, and was also an LCO Foster Grandparents.
She is survived by her sons Harold (Janet) Dickison, Mark Dickison; daughters Letha Ellis LaRonge, Cindy (Jerome) Dickison Guettler; 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren; many nephews and nieces.
Bernice is preceded in death by her parents; sons Girard Ellis, Randall Dickison; sisters Elizabeth, Dorothy, Mary, Bonita; brothers James, Richard; son-in-law Dudley LaRonge; and great great grandson Baby G.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at St. Francis Solanus Indian Mission in Reserve with Fr. Gregory Hopefl officiating and music provided by Sister Felissa Zander. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery. Visitation will be held from at 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. prior to the service at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward.
Honorary casket bearers will be Rick DeNomie, Jerome Guettler, David Kellar, Louis Nickence and Mike Woller Sr.
