Betty G. Butler, age 82, of Chicago, IL, formerly of Lac Courte Oreilles, died Sunday, June 17, 2018 at Saints Mary & Elizabeth Medical Center in Chicago.

Betty G. Quaderer was born August 13, 1935 in Hayward, WI the daughter of Thomas and Frances (O'Shogay) Quaderer. She married Richard Butler in her early years, they decided that friendship was a better fit for them.  Betty lived in Chicago, IL where she ran a sewer and plumbing business with her lifelong significant other Jim Locklear. Betty never had any children of her own, however many called her auntie and she opened her home to all. Betty had a heart of gold and was very generous to others around her.  You never left her home hungry or thirsty. Betty shared many stories and many cheers with many family and friends. Her smile and laughter will be missed by all.

She is survived by her sisters Judy Quaderer, Lucille "Dee Dum" Wabaninkee; brother Robert "Bob" Quaderer.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband Richard Butler; sisters Veronica Edwards, Flavia Girard, Anna Conger, Isabelle Coon & Esther Williams; brothers John Quaderer, Vincent Quaderer, Ignatius Quaderer, Joseph Quaderer & Tommy Quaderer; many nephews & nieces

A Memorial Mass was held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 29, 2018 at St. Francis Solanus Indian Mission in Reserve. Father Gregory Hopefl officiated with music provided by Sister Felissa Zander. Burial was in St. Francis Cemetery. Visitation was held from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., Friday, prior to Mass at the church.

Honorary bearers were Jason Anderson, Mike Anderson, Dave Quaderer, Jeff Quaderer, Keith Quaderer and Ron Quaderer.
