Brett A. Barber, 4 months, of LCO, died Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Minneapolis Children's Hospital.
Brett Anthony Barber was born October 8, 2014 in Duluth, MN, the son of Rita Barber and Brett Olson. He was taken to Minneapolis Childrens Hospital where he lived for almost 5 months.
He is survived by parents Rita and Brett; brothers Cameron Barber, his twin brother Adam Barber; sisters Lydia Barber, Jasmine Barber; grandparents Gaiashkibos & Rita St. John; Godmother LuAnn Raymond.
Tribal Funeral Rites will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at New Post Community Center in New Post with Lee Staples officiating. Burial will be in Round Lake Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Monday, March 2 at the community center in New Post
Honorary casket bearers will be Gaiashkibos, Arlene Raymond, LuAnn Raymond and Rita St. John.
Casket bearers are Dan Barber, Rick Denomie, Tim Hogetvedt and Josh LaRush.
