Brett G. Dennis Sr., age 39 of LCO, died Saturday, November 1, 2014 at his home.

Brett Gerald Dennis Sr. was born April 16, 1975 in Shell Lake, WI the son of Merlyn Gokey and Barbara Dennis. He grew up in Hayward and enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time with his friends and family. Brett's pride and joy was his son Brett Jr.

He is survived by his son Brett Dennis; brothers David Dennis Sr., Jamie Dennis, Tim Miller, Shawn Miller and Joe Miller; sisters Miranda, Yvonne, Melissa, Belinda, Lucinda, Nichol Miller, Carolyn DeBrot and Roberta Corbine.

Brett was preceded in death by his parents; sister Margaret; brother Bruce Dennis; aunts Bernice and Eunice; uncles Bill and Ronald Carley.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at St. Francis Solanus Indian Mission in Reserve. Father Gregory Hopefl will officiate with music provided by Sister Felissa Zander. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 4 at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward, with a scripture service at 6:30 p.m.

Honorary casket bearers will be Anthony Dennis, Bobbi Dennis, Brett Dennis Jr., Carlena Dennis, Ciara Dennis, David Dennis Jr., Demetri Dennis, Lynn Dennis and Sasha Dennis.

Casket bearers will be Will Carley, Leon Corbine, Curtis Crone, Monty Diamond-Smith, Casey Miller, Christopher Rusk, Paul Stevens, Joe Taylor, Justin Trettin and Robert Trepania.
