Bruce W. Nebel, 57 of Couderay, passed away peacefully, Sunday, April 3, 2016 at Essentia Health – St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth, MN.

Bruce Wayne Nebel was born February 16, 1959 in Waukegan, IL, the son of William and Verona "Vicki" (Wolfe) Nebel Sr. He graduated from LCO High School in 1976 and then enlisted in the U.S. Marines, serving until 1980. Bruce lived for serveral years in Wyoming where he worked as a control officer in a hydro-electric plant, and also worked as an EMT. In1990 Bruce moved back to LCO, where he worked for the LCO Casino in security, and was currently working as Lieutenant of Security.

He is survived by his son Derek Nebel; daughters Angeline Reynolds, Brecca Nebel-Debrot; brother William (Linda) Nebel; sisters Lynette (Mike) Winkle, Shellene Nebel.

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents; infant sister Michelle Nebel.

A Memorial Service was held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward with Father Gregory Hopefl officiating. Visitation was held from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Thursday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Honorary bearers were Mickey Belille, Joseph Blackdeer, Michael Blackdeer, Tim DeBrot, Sherry DeBrot, Juliet Duffy, Chuck Martin, Bryce Moberg, Carl Moberg, Jamie Moberg, Justin Moberg, William Nebel III and Doug Wolfe.
