Bryon Kenneth Nickence, age 65, of New Post, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2023.

Bryon was born January 8, 1958, in Hayward, WI the son of George O'Shogay and Cecelia Nickence.

He is survived by his brother Adrian Nickence; sisters Wavern Ramsey & Gretchen Nickence; nephews & nieces.

Bryon was preceded in death by his parents; brother Stanley Nickence, John Nickence & Steven Nickence; and sister Yvonne Nickence.

Tribal Funeral Rites were held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at New Post Community Center. Gary Quaderer Sr. officiated. Burial was in New Post Cemetery. Visitation began at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 21st at New Post Community Center.

Honorary casket bearers were Sam "Cootie" Bearheart, Loren Pewash, Rose Ramsey & Laurel Sutton.

Casket bearers were Ryan Bunker Jr., Mike Decora, Eric Peterson, Thomas Smith Jr., Gary Tainter & Pat Tainter.
