Carl J. Oppold, age 48, of Stone Lake, died Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.
Carl Jay was born in Freeport, IL on May 9, 1965, the son Charles and Dorothy (Van Rault) Oppold. He attended Hayward Scnools until he was 18. Carl then went onto work at Ventures Unlimited, which he looked forward to every day. He participated in Special Olympics, enjoyed music and his pets immensely.
He is survived by mom Dorothy Shuey; brothers Ken (Betsy) Oppold, Charles Oppold, Bob (Martha) Oppold, Ken (Jeanne) Shuey, Dave (Lou Ellen) Shuey, Tom (Vicki) Shuey; sister Anna (Brad) Winesburg, Jeanne (Ken) Shuey and Kathy (Bob) Lamm; many nephews and nieces.
Carl is preceded in death by his father Charles Oppold and step-father James Shuey.
A Memorial Gathering will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 Noon, Monday, July 1 at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Stone Lake.
