Carole-Jean North-Sky Young, age 5 months, of Hayward, passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2023.

Carole-Jean was born February 1, 2023, in Hayward, the daughter of Rachel Miller and James Young. She loved playing in the grass, Truly & the Rainbow Kingdom and finding her beautiful voice. Most of all Carole-Jean loved her bsff's, her siblings, who could make her laugh so easily where Mom had to work for it. She brought more happiness than possible and was loved beyond anything that could ever be contained.

She is survived by her parents; sister Leighla Miller; brother Carter Archambault; grandparents Ross Young and Carol (Jim Holden) Young; grandmother Luann Gokey; aunts Jessica (Jeremy) Mork, Raven Miller & Sara Lee; uncles Christopher (Tiffany) Young, Raymond Miller Jr, Raif Miller, Jason Morrow, James (Jimmy) Smith, Robert (Lena) Smith & Brandt Lee;  many great aunts; cousins Abe, Kane, Owen, Tyson, Brix, Raymond, Raehanna, Myles, Deighton, SaRiyan, Serenity & Randy.

Carole-Jean was preceded in death by her grandmother Carole Jean Morrow; grandfather William Miller Sr.; great grandmother Sarah Morrow; great grandfather George; and great auntie Darlene.

Tribal Funeral Rites were held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 8, 2023, at Big Drum Ceremonial Center in Lac Courte Oreilles. Chato "Ombishkebines" Gonzalez officiated. Burial was in Historyland Cemetery. Visitation began at 5:00 p.m., Friday, July 7th at Big Drum.

Casket bearers were Raif Miller, Raymond Miller Jr., James Smith Jr. and Robert Smith.
