Carole D. Jensen, age 80, of Hayward, died Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at Hayward Area Memorial Hospital.

Carole Darlyne was born January 3, 1933 in Waterloo, IA to Donald and Muriel (Macumber) Eastman. She was a graduate of Moline High School where she met the love of her live, Will Jensen. Will and Carole were in united in marriage on March 3, 1956 in Nevada, IA. Carole worked as a legal secretary and a realtor in the Quad City, Iowa area. She retired in 1996 with Will to their cabin on Round Lake, the place both of them loved best. Carole enjoyed wine, books and boating. She will be missed greatly by her family.

She is survived by her husband Will; son Bill (Carol) Jensen; daughter Julie (Jim) Hansen; grandsons, who could do no wrong, Andy Jensen, Will and John Hansen; brother Don (Joe) Eastman; several nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.

Carole was preceded in death by her parents.

Private family services will be held.
