Carrie J. Wolfe, age 51, of New Post, died Tuesday, November 15, 2022, peacefully at her home.

Carrie Jean Wolfe was born July 8, 1971, in Hayward, WI, the daughter of Donald "Ducky" Potack and LeeAnn (Wolfe) Tainter. She graduated from LCO High School. Carrie was a very hard worker at any task she did and worked at different resorts during the summer months. She will always be remembered for her generosity, always helping anyway she could. Carrie was a caregiver for so many elders and friends throughout her life. She was a staple in her community because she stepped up and helped whenever she was needed. Carrie touched so many lives with her quick wit and put a smile on everyone's face she met. Many will remember her for her great sense of humor.

She is survived by her sons James Wolfe, William (DeAnna McGuire) Wolfe & Craig (Amanda Dahlin) Gougé; sister Cindy Potack, Brandi Potack, Sonya Tainter, Misty Belisle, Melinda Wolfe & Katie Mae Quaderer; brother Donald Potack Jr; grandchildren Cecelia Blackdeer, Craig Gougé Jr., Kyrie Gougé, Saidah Harrington, William Wolfe Jr & baby Earl; many nieces & nephews.

Carrie was preceded in death by her mother LeeAnn Tainter; grandmother Doris Wolfe; grandfather Eugene Wolfe; great grandpa Charles Wolfe; sister Vicky Potack; great aunt Victoria (Wolfe) Nebel; aunt Brenda Wolfe; cousins Loren Potack & William "Bill" Swehla.

Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 18, 2022, at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in New Post.  Father Karunakar Madanu officiated with music provided by Sister Felissa Zander. Visitation began at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, November 17 th at New Post Community Center.

Honorary casket bearer were Donald "Duck" Potack, Dave Quaderer, Roberta "Litt" Martin, Elaine DeBrot, Berta Crowe, Sonya Tainter, Katie Mae Quaderer, Jayleigh Baker, Patrick Baker, Tom & Shelby Tainter, Dino Barber, Herbert "Buffalo" Clause, Stephanie Quaderer, Teasha Benjamin & Pamela Martin.

Casket bearers were Misty Belisle, Sammy Benjamin, Craig Gougé, Diana Ruiz, James Wolfe & William Wolfe.
