Charles Russell McLeod, age 87, of Stone Lake, WI, passed away Monday, March 25, 2024.

Russ was born August 2, 1936, in Madison, WI the son of Mabel (Donaldson) and Daniel McLeod Sr. He graduated from Hayward High School and then attend Bryan College in Dayton, TN. Russ proudly served our country in the US Army from 1958-1960. After his service he returned to help on the family farm. Russ was united in marriage to Dorothy Drabek on October 20, 1984. Russ was a member of the Stone Lake Wesleyan Church.

He is survived by his wife Dorothy; daughter Michelle McLeod; sister Annetta (Vern) Barger; step-children Pamela (Jon) Walter, Brian (Michelle) Drabek, Douglas (Sue) Drabek & Gregory (Charlotte) Drabek; nieces Ruth (Ken) Humbart, Linda (Perry) Jones & Amy Barger; nephews Victor (Shih-Mei) Barger & Andrew Barger.

Russ was preceded in death by his parents; brother Daniel (Gwen) McLeod Jr. & Robert McLeod; sister Alice (Ken) Campbell; step-son Scott Drabek; and nieces Annette Ahern & Jennie Campbell-Beu.

A Memorial Service was held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Stone Lake Wesleyan Church. Pastor Timothy Young officiated with music provided by Ryan Wilson. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Stone Lake. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the church.

Honorary bearers were Brian Drabek, Doug Drabek, Greg Drabek & Jon Walter.
