January 24, 1958 – April 17, 2023
Clyde Leroy Miller Sr., age 65, of New Post, WI passed away peacefully Monday, April 17, 2023 at Dove Regional Vent Center in Chippewa Falls, WI.
Clyde was born January 24, 1958, in Hayward, WI the son of Mary "Girl" (Taylor) and Burleigh Miller Sr. He met the mother of his children, Debora DeMarr in 1974, from then on, they were inseparable. Clyde worked as a self-employed mechanic most of his life. He knew everything there was to know about cars, especially muscle cars. Clyde even knew what kind of car was coming down the road by the sound of it, even before seeing the car. He also worked many years at the LCO Cranberry Marsh as equipment specialist and driving tracker. Before being hospitalized, Clyde spent his time enjoying life the way he wanted, surrounded by family, friends and especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his daughters Natalie Miller (Maurice Corbine Sr.) & Whitney Miller (Jon Quaderer); sister Brenda Miller (Alfred DeMarr); brothers Burleigh (Renee) Miller, Robert Miller, Doug Potack; 14 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Clyde was proceeded in death by both parents; his significate other Debora; both sons Gregory, and Clyde Jr.; brothers Duane, Rick, Alan, Brian "Dum" Miller; uncle Wilbur "Teed" Miller; aunts Malita Lewis, Judy McNabb, Ruth Apfel & Carolann Sutton; niece Mary Alice Miller.
Tribal Funeral Rites began at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 21 st at New Post Community Center in New Post. Gary Quaderer officiated. Burial was in Whitefish Cemetery. Visitation began at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, April 20 th at New Post Community Center.
Honorary casket bearers were Ryan Bunker, Raymond DeMarr III, Duane "D.J." Miller, Ricky Miller Sr., Donald "Ducky" Potack and Robert "Bob" Villiard.
Casket bearers were Maurice Corbine Jr., Walter Corbine, Cory Cross, Brylee Miller, Burleigh Miller III, Latrell Miller and Jon Quaderer.
