Cody Lynne Tainter, age 25, of Minneapolis, MN, passed away Friday, October 11, 2024.

Cody was born June 6, 1999, in Ladysmith, WI, the daughter of Cheryl Tainter and Christopher Evans.

She is survived by her mother Cheryl (Doug Quagon Jr.); father Christopher; brothers Kaden Long, Kylen Long, Kason Long & Douglas Charles Quagon III; grandmothers Anita Tainter, Sharon Kapas & Marjorie Miller; aunts Candice Kapas, Tory Scoles & Krystin Fleming; uncles Keith "Hondo" Tainter & Michael Evans; great aunts Sheila Gauthier, Mae Dell Granica & Lorna Marie Gauthier.

Cody was preceded in death by her grandparents Mary & Joe Evans and Kenneth Tainter Jr.; and great grandparents Lorna Alice Gauthier, Thomas Gauthier Sr. & Kenneth Tainter Sr.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon, Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward. Burial will be in Radisson Cemetery.

Honorary casket bearers will be Becky Abeita, Tonia Bainter, Cameo Rose Hart, Vinessah Homesky, Betty Lacapa, & Simone Stevens.

Casket Bearers will be Clifford Carley, Cody DeMarr, Jimmy Lee Dennis, Josh Luce, Doug Quagon Jr. & Keith "Hondo" Tainter.
