Curtis Samuel Crone Sr., age 49, of Lac Courte Oreilles, passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2024.

Curtis was born December 17, 1974, in Hayward, WI the son of Patricia Crone and Michael Fleming Sr. He loved life and enjoyed having a good time with family and friends. Curtis very much loved each and every one of his kids and grandchildren. He was a huge Green Bay Packer Fan and enjoyed watching each game. Curtis was very smart, knew a lot as an electrician, and also attended college for music production in Fort Lauderdale, FL. He loved the outdoors, being on his 4-wheeler and all other off-road vehicles. Curtis was very funny and comical; he knew how to make people laugh. He loved his music, his pet cat "baby Kitty/Lily", Taco his pet Chihuahua and dressing him up. Curtis loved the traditional life and working for WOJB. He was very proud of his older children graduating. Curtis was also very passionate about his children pursuing what they loved to do, he loved old records and playing all kinds of older music.

He is survived by his wife Jill DeMarr; parents Patsy & Mike; children Elaina (Shannon) Grover, Keenan Crone, Curtis Crone Jr., Bethany Carley, Lexie Crone, Stephanie Stevens, Jonathan Crone & Journie Crone; siblings Jamie Fleming, Ashley (Chase) Belille, Mayme Crone & Michael Fleming Jr.; many nephews & nieces.

Curtis was preceded in death by his grandparents Carol & Frank Crone and Alberta & Art Fleming; uncles David & Louie Fleming, Frank & Arnold Crone and Tim Nelson; father-in-law Oliver "Buckshot" DeMarr.

Tribal Funeral Rites began at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward. Henry White Thunder, Gary Quaderer Sr. and Jeff Crone officiated. Burial was in Round Lake Cemetery. Visitation began at 5:00 p.m., Friday, February 16th at the funeral home.

Honorary casket bearers were Doug Coffman, Doug Coon, Arnold Crone Jr., Doug Fleming, Jerry Fleming, Carlee Hamilton, Shawn Miller, Johnny Ray Smith, Gerald "Wink" Thayer & Donald "Bozo" Trepanier.

Casket Bearers were Chase Belille, Curtis Crone Jr., Kevin Crone, Michael Fleming Jr., George Thayer and Curtis Trepanier.
