Daniel Warren Gokee Jr., age 60, of New Post, WI, passed away Thursday, November 9, 2023.

Daniel was born June 24, 1963, in Hayward, the son of Daniel Gokee Sr. and Doris Tainter.

He is survived by his life partner Gloria Mustache; sons Derek Gokee & Daniel Gokee; daughter Jessica Gokee; ten grandchildren, one great grandchild; brother Larry Kagigebi; sisters Rose Gokee, Pearl Gokee, Marilyn Gokee, Bonny Ledoux & Cheryl Littlegeorge; many nephews & nieces.

Dan was preceded in death by his parents.

Tribal Funeral Rites were held at 10:00 a.m. Sunday, November 12th at New Post Community Center.  Michael Taylor officiated. Burial was in New Post Cemetery. Visitation began at 5:00 p.m., Saturday, November 11th at New Post Community Center.

Honorary casket bearers were Cesley Chavez, Herbert Clause, Tony Crowe, Gregg Fleming, Jim Mustache, Don Schmock, Mark Tainter & Tom Tainter.

Casket bearers were Eric Clause, Jamie Fleming, Josh Luce, William St. Germaine, Pat Tainter and Josiah Thunder.
