David J. Haus, age 50, of Winter, WI died Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield, WI.

David John Haus was born July 11, 1968 in Milwaukee, WI the son of Josef and Monika (Fuchsberger) Haus. David's dream was to move his family up to the Northwoods. After 27 years of coming up to their cabin to vacation, David made that dream for his family come true eight years ago when they moved to Winter, WI permanently.  David made their cabin into a home. David loved to be outdoors.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman with many trophies to be proud of.  You could always count on David to lend a hand.  Everywhere he went he made a new friend.  David enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  He always made every day an adventure.  The one person he was most proud of was his daughter, Camryn, the love of his life.

He is survived by his wife Krista; daughter Camryn; mother Monika; siblings Michael Haus, Sylvia (John) Ksobiech and Jeff (Cindy Bruno) Haus; many nephews, nieces & friends.

David was preceded in death by his father Josef.

A Memorial Mass was held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 10, 2018 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Winter. Father Jerome D'Souza officiated with music provided by Marie Ellickson and Elna Korinke. Visitation was held from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. prior to Mass on Saturday at the church.
