Dean L. Januesheske, 51, of Hayward, WI, died on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at his home.
Dean was born on January 1, 1962, in Sparta, WI, Monroe County, the son of Richard and Theresa (Kick) Januesheske. He grew up in the Sparta area and moved to Cataract to help his parents run the Mill Pond tavern. During that time, he also worked at the Sparta Foundry and Northern Engraving. Dean met his wife Diane in 1986 and they married in June of 1990. They moved to Wyeville in 1992 where he worked at Cardinal Glass TG as a laborer and account manager for 17 years. In 2007, Dean and Diane moved to Hayward WI to live their dream. They bought the Log Cabin Store and spent the next 5 years enjoying their new life in the north woods. He enjoyed motorcycling, fishing, old cars, spending time with friends and family, and especially enjoyed being part of and viewing nature in this special part of Wisconsin. Dean will be sadly missed.
He is survived by his wife Diane, stepdaughter Angie (Tim) Barnum, granddaughters Liz (Matt) and Sam, great granddaughter Leighton, sisters Pauline (Larry) Whitehead and Mary Januesheske of Sparta WI, sister-in-law Shannon Januesheske, 1 niece, 1 nephew, 3 great nieces and nephews, and a large extended family on Diane's side.
Dean was preceded in death by his mother, Theresa who passed away on Sept 14, 2008, his father Dick who passed away on Jan 29, 2013, his brother Dennis who passed away on May 31, 2012 and his grandparents Lilian and Henry Januesheske.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 15, 2013 at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward with Rev. Tim Warner officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. Friday, prior to the services at the funeral home.
