Debora K. DeMarr, age 54 of Couderay, died Thursday, January 9, 2014 at Essentia Health-St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth, MN.

Debora Kay was born December 18, 1959 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Raymond Jr. and Mary (Dunton) DeMarr. Debbie was with her life partner Clyde L. Miller Sr. for 38 years. She enjoyed going to the casino and playing Keno, and also going to garage sales. Debbie was employed at LCO Health Center for 21 years.

She is survived by life partner Clyde Miller Sr.; children Gregory Miller, Natalie Miller, Clyde (Desiree) Miller Jr., Whitney (Jon) Miller, Duane "DJ" (Shannon) Miller, all of LCO; grandchildren Lashonia, Madalyn, Elizabeth, Latrell, Brylee, Mercedes, Wabanung, and Clarence Miller, Destiny, Maurice Jr., and Walter Corbine, and Aubrey Conger-Fowler, all of LCO; brothers and sisters Mary Ellen (John) Hanlon, Betty Dust, Corrine (Brian) DeMarr, Johnny (Lauri) DeMarr Sr., Raymond DeMarr III, William DeMarr, all of LCO, Brian Fleming of Minneapolis, Ralene (David) Ludvigsen and Marion "Jr." (Traci) Beecher, both of Clinton, IA; many nephews and nieces.

Debbie was preceded in death by parents; brothers Richard and Roy Allen; sister Sophie DeMarr; brothers-in-law Paul Dust Jr., Duane, Ricky, and Brian Miller; daughter-in-law Jennifer Rose Miller; niece Mary Alice Miller; nephews Travis Wood and Johnny "JD" DeMarr Jr; and her best friend Penny Baker.

The Memorial Mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 13 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in New Post, with Father Gregory Hopefl officiating and music provided by Sister Felissa Zander. Burial will be in New Post Cemetery. Visitation will be held beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 12 at New Post Community Center.

Honorary bearers will be Maurice Corbine Sr., Derek "Dudez" Gokee, Al Miller, Burleigh Miller Jr., Robert Miller, Jonathan Quaderer, Kenny Quaderer and Kevin Thayer Sr.
