DEBRA SCHLIEMAN
Debra J. Schlieman, age 52 of Hayward, died Saturday, September 10, 2011 at her home.
Debra Jean was born November 16, 1958 in San Andreas, CA, the daughter of Wilber and Phyllis (Harris) Schlieman. She grew up and attended school in California then moved to Hayward in 1989. Debra worked for various places in Hayward before beginning work with Wal-Mart when they first opened. She loved to spend her time working on crafts and scrap booking. Debra loved the outdoors, gardening and her cat Homer.
She is survived by her mother Phyllis Schlieman; sons Michael (Kari) Perona, Christopher (Amanda) Swanson both of Hayward; grandchildren Jade, Julie, Taunie, Riley and Ryker; sisters Barbara Schlieman, Linda Swanson; niece Renee'.
Debra was preceded in death by her father Wilber and fiancé Howard "Butch" Marz.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 17 at United Methodist Church in Hayward. Pastor Dan Fahs will officiate. Visitation will be held from 10:00 -11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Pineview Funeral Service is assisting Debra's family with the arrangements.
