Delores Taylor, age 84, of Stone Lake, WI was called home by the Lord peacefully Friday, December 13, 2019 at Lakeview Medical Center in Rice Lake, WI.

Delores was born February 27, 1935 in Nebraska the daughter of Hazen and Florence Weston. At the age of five she moved to the South Dakota and lived at the Marty Indian boarding school. When Delores turned eighteen, she moved to Chicago with her older sister Lydia. While living in Chicago, she met the love of her life, Frank Taylor. Delores had three children Patricia, Mary Jo and John Taylor. She moved to Lac Courte Oreilles with her husband to raise their family. Delores was a devote Catholic, wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. Her favorite color was teal. Delores loved her cup of coffee in the morning along with her favorite morning shows. In her younger days she enjoyed going to the casino. Delores loved listening to her country western music and visiting with family. She stayed in Lac Courte Oreilles until her husband passed in 2004, shortly after Delores moved in with close family. She was always surrounded by family.

She is survived by her son John (Cana) Taylor; ten grandchildren and many great grandchildren; sisters Darlene and Rose.

Delores was preceded in death by her parents Hazen & Florence; husband Frank "Shorty" Taylor; daughters Patricia Taylor and Mary Jo Taylor; sisters Lydia, Marlene and Eleanor.

Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at St. Francis Solanius Indian Mission in Reserve. Father Gregory Hopefl officiated with music provided by Sister Felizza Zander. Burial was in St. Francis Cemetery. Visitation was held from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, prior to Mass at the church.

Honorary casket bearers were her grandchildren Jolene Bildeau, Bryan Corbine, Shana Corbine, Teana Merrill, Ramona Norton, Mia Taylor and Samantha Taylor.

Casket bearers were Frankie Bildeau, Maurice Corbine, Joe Merrill, Leif Norton, John Taylor Sr. and John Taylor Jr.
