Diana Sue Isham, 59, of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, passed away Monday, Oct. 30, 2017, at University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor.

Diana was born Jan. 3, 1958, in Hayward, the daughter of Dale and Marlene (Nayquonabe) Isham. Diana was a proud member of the Lac Courte Oreilles Band of Lake Superior Ojibwe. She enjoyed cooking for the entire family, and going to and participating in pow-wows. There is nothing more that Diana loved than spending time with her family and friends.

Diana is survived by her son, Ronald Isham of Mt. Pleasant; daughter, Raini Isham of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren, Brandon Isham, Aysia Isham and Richie Vaquera; siblings, Mary, Richard, Roger, Benny, Karen, Paul, Samuel, Sharon, Rose and Christine; and many nieces and nephews.

Diana was preceded in death by her infant son, Baby Gary; her parents; and siblings, Chucky, Terri and Eddie Isham.

A memorial service for Diana was held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, at Saginaw Chippewa Tribal Gym with Rev. Robert Pego officiating.
