Dolores Edith Bowstring, age 73, of Lac Courte Oreilles, WI, passed away April 23, 2026.

Dolores was born Sept 5th, 1952, in Hayward, WI, the daughter of Phillip Lawrence Homesky and Elizabeth Katherine (Conger) Homesky.

She is survived by her husband, Marvin Bowstring, daughters Stephanie Jackson, son Mark Jackson, grandchildren: Codi, Cameo, Ron, Clifford, Ayden, Jackson, Rebecca, Kai and great- great grandchildren: Kiaia, Maddox, and Abigail, sisters: Sheila McShane, Cynthia Gauther, Cheryl Homesky.

Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, Phillip and Elizabeth (Conger) Homesky, Brothers: Charles “Bud” Homesky, Paul Homesky, sisters: Mary (Homesky) Bilkasley, Darlene Jackson, and Bertha Sam.

Tribal Funeral Rites will begin at 10:00 a.m., Sunday, April 26, 2026, at Pineview Funeral Service. Hayward WI. Gary Ne-aan-da-wed” Quaderer will officiate. Burial will be at Chief Lake Indian Burial Grounds. Visitation will begin at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, April 25, at Pineview Funeral Service.

Casket Bearers will be Randy Cadotte, Tony Gouge, Joey Gouge, Marvin Bowstring Jr., Ray Brown, and Damian Archambault.
