DON "BUTCH" GIBSON

In remembrance of Don L. Gibson, age 56 of Hayward, who died in his sleep on Tuesday, July 14, 2015.

Don "Butch" Lester Gibson was born July 23, 1958 in Waukegan, IL, the son of Don Gibson & Lois DeMarr. He was a 27 year resident of Fairbanks, AK before moving to Hayward, where he lived his last four year. Don loved his life in Alaska where he could hunt, fish, shoot his guns and raise his Akita's, Shy and Barney, who preceded him in death. He had so much love for all his animals. THEY were his Alaskan life. Don will always be remembered for many different reason and experiences.

He is survived by his son Chad Paulson; mother Lois, father Don; brother David (Naciye) Gibson of Apple Valley, MN; sister Donna "Punkin" Treadway; niece Tanisha Treadway; great niece Ariah Mustache who turned light on in his eyes; four aunts, three uncles & many cousins.

Don was preceded in death by his sister Debi Gibson.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 20th at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward. Father Gregory Hopefl will officiate. Visitation will be held on Monday from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., prior to the service at the funeral home.
