DONNA THAYER

Donna L. Thayer, age 52, of LCO died Friday, July 13, 2018 at Hayward Area Memorial Hospital.

Donna Leigh Thayer was born June 29, 1966 in Hayward, WI the daughter of Frank and Shirley Thayer. She grew up in Hayward and graduated from Hayward High School in 1984. After graduation, Donna was employed at the LCO Headstart as well as the LCO Tribal Office. She met her companion Joseph Trepania and they had three children together, Stephanie, Jayme & Jason "Buck". Donna was currently employed at the Sevenwinds Casino. She was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan, enjoyed spending time with all her grandchildren, family and visiting her sisters-in-law. "Nonnie" made a special connection with all her nephews and nieces. Donna had a great sense of humor and liked to make people laugh. She will be greatly missed and her memories will carry on.

She is survived by her son Jason Thayer (Sunnie Standingcloud); daughter Stephanie Blank (Eric Jaskela); grandchildren Jaymes, Jaycob, Jason Jr. Jayden, Kameron & Jayme; brother Russell (Michelle) Thayer; sisters Ardis (Bob) Pitchford, Florence Thayer, Mary Thayer, Lisa Thayer, Connie Thayer (Steve Benjamin), Patricia Thayer, Joni (Ken) Taylor, Libby Thayer, Sarah (Joe) Evitch; sister-in-law Liz Thayer; many nephews, nieces & cousins.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents Frank & Shirley; significant other Joe "Geeb" Trepania; infant daughter Jayme; brothers Frank, Doug, Bill, Pete & David; sisters Ilene & Kim; nephew Brian

The Funeral Service was held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward. Rev. Gordon Thayer officiated. A private family burial will be held at a later date. Visitation began at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 17 ^th at the funeral home.

Honorary casket bearers were Jayna Benjamin, Steve Benjamin, Kenneth Corbine, Louis Corbine, Dan Cousins, Ryan Elsinger, Brandon Groat, Ronda Trepania, Sandy Trepania, Teresa Trepania, Trish Trepania and Chris Zabolski.

Casket bearers were Steven Benjamin, John Robert Hall, Pete Taylor, Robert Thayer, Robert Trepania and Scott Young.
