Duane A. Johnson, age 75, of Clam Lake, WI, formerly of Dresser, WI, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at home at "The Shack."
Duane "Tanglefoot" Albin Johnson was born March 1, 1941 the son of Karl and Margaret (Olson) Johnson at his grandmother's house in Ubet, WI. He attended school at the old Dresser Elementary School and Osceola High School.
On December 10, 1960, he married Susanne Nord, of St. Paul, MN, and moved to Dresser to a small farm. Then moving to his father's farm, he dairy farmed for 27 years before retiring to Clam Lake.
Duane loved fishing in Canada most of all.
He is survived by his wife Susanne of 56 years; children Patty (David) Johnson, Laure (Junior) Peterson, Kathy "Mouse" Johnson and friend Jeff, Wayne (Trish) Johnson, Tony "Gabby" (Brenda) Johnson, Bruce (Chyleen) Johnson, Julie Johnson and friend John; grandchildren Mark, Kristina, Steven, Shane, Sarah, Jake, Toshia, Jason, Trevor, Anna and Tucker; sister Audrey Johnson; special niece Leah Johnson; many relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.
Duane was preceded by his parents Karl and Margaret; brothers Harvey and Larry; great grandson Wyatt Tourville.
A Memorial Mass was held at 3:30 p.m. Monday, April 25, 2016 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Cable with Father Gerard Willger officiating. A private interment was held at Clam Lake Cemetery. Visitation was held from 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. prior to Mass at the church.
