Edward G. Bender, age 90, of Winter, died on Saturday, October 26, 2013 in Louisville, KY.
Edward George Bender was born on May 19, 1923, he was a native of Chicago, IL. Edward was a WWII Navy Veteran and a Master Mason Lodge #478. He retired from Wirtz Corp. in Chicago and retired with his beloved wife Dorothiean to Winter, WI in 1992. Edward spent his winters with his son and family in Kentucky after her death.
He is survived by son Michael, George, Gary and Tim; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
Edward was proceeded in death by wife and parents.
The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 1, 2013 at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward. Burial will be in Winter Cemetery. Military Honors will be accorded by WACEK-Slattery American Legion Post #303. Visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. on Friday prior to the service at the funeral home.
