Edward Francis Martin Jr., age 76, of Lac Courte Oreilles, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2024.

Eddy Boy was born June 29, 1947, in Hayward the son of Edward "Scoop" and Mary (Gokey) Martin. He was his own boss and worked as a private contractor. Eddy Boy had many skills and had a passion for boxing. He was fostering children for many generations and his home was always open to everyone who needed a place to stay.

He is survived by his son Edward "Boy" Conger; daughters April (Duane) Quagon & Maryann (Chris) Conger; grandchildren Kara Conger-Quagon, Anthony Conger & Nathon Conger; brothers Jerry Martin & Don Campbell; sister Kaye "Chicky" Martin & Anita Carley; many nephews, nieces & cousins; and his special dog Elliot.

Eddy Boy was preceded in death by his parents Ed "Scoop" & Mary; sisters Linda, LuAnn, Judy & Mary Sue; and brothers baby Allan, Will Carley & Melvin Gasper.

The Funeral Service was held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 5, 2024, at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward. Rev. Debbie Wilber and Sheila Thayer officiated. Burial will be in Whitefish Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, January 4th at the funeral home.

Honorary casket bearers were Anthony Conger, Kara Conger-Quagon, Mike Law, Gerald "Little Jerry" Malone, Myron Lemieux & Edward "Bubba" Martin.

Casket Bearers were Nathon Conger, Vinny Desiderio, Donny Gokey, Josh LaRush, Julian Martin, Ken "Toot" Taylor and Chris Wright.
