Obituary

Edward H. Lindemann, age 90 of Stone Lake, died Saturday, June 2, 2012 at Waters Edge Care Center in Hayward.

Edward Henry was born June 10, 1921 in Chicago, IL, the son of Edward and Elsie (Plattner) Lindemann. He graduated high school in Chicago and attended Chicago School of Printing. In 1943 he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served in the South Pacific during World War II until 1946. After the military he was united in marriage to his sweetheart Virginia Hajek on August 17, 1946 in Riverside, IL. They resided in Illinois where Ed worked in the printing business for 35 years. In 1982 they retired to their summer home on Whitefish Lake in Hayward, their lifelong dream. Ed was a member of First Lutheran Church in Stone Lake and was very active with the Stone Lake Senior Center.

He is survived by his wife Virginia; son Gary (Rosemary) Lindemann DDS of Oakbrook, IL; daughter June Crouch of Apopka, FL; two grandchildren Dana Lindemann and Nikita Crouch; his sister Pearl Kent of Arizona; and nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Private family memorial services will be held, with interment in the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
