Elizabeth "Betty" Nickence,  age 68 of Hayward, Wisconsin, passed away October 22, 2020.

Betty was a loving mother and grandmother; she was also strong, independent, hardworking and a caretaker to all. She had a love for life, and spent it loving on her family and friends. Elizabeth always had a smile on her face and encouraging words to say.

Preceded in death by the father of her children, Shirley Clifford Allred.

She is survived by daughters Kerri Allred and Karol Allred, grandchildren Shonna Williams, Amber Ward, Gavin Ward, and Bethany Shipley, and great-grandchildren Ida Williams, Kayleigh Shipley, Maddy Shipley, and Jakob Shipley.

The family received friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel, TN Tribal Funeral Rites were held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 30th at Big Drum Ceremonial Center in Lac Courte Oreilles with Jerry Smith officiating Burial was in New Post Cemetery.
