Florence Gertrude Baker, age 94, of Lac Courte Oreilles, WI, passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at Hayward Health Services.

Florence was born September 6, 1930, in Park Falls, WI, the daughter of William and Nora (Gavin) Isham. She attended Hayward Community Schools. Florence dedicated her life to taking care of her family, who she loved dearly. She worked for Tremblay's where she was a peanut brittle maker; and was a server at several restaurants, including the Moose Café & the Co-op Restaurant. Florence retired from LCO Health Clinic where she cleaned for 25 years. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her sons Alvin (Lisa) Baker Jr. & William (Barb) Baker; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; sisters Janet Froemel, Betty Scott & Mary Jack; many nieces & nephews.

Florence was preceded in death by her parents; husband Alvin Baker Sr.; son Douglas Baker; granddaughter Bobbi Jo Baker; sister Delores Walczak; brothers Ralph Isham & Elmer Corbine.

Mass of Chrisitan Burial was held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at St. Francis Solanus Indian Mission in Reserve.  Father Karunakar Madanu officiated will music provided by Sister Felissa Zander. Burial was  n St. Francis Cemetery. Visitation began at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 6th at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward.

Honorary casket bearer was Matt Baker Sr.

Casket Bearers were Kaylissa Baker, Mathew Baker Jr., Trevor Baker, Jake Isham, John Jack, Adam King & Melissa King.
