GARY TAYLOR
Gary Taylor, 62, of Hayward, died Friday, March 6, 2015 at his home.
Gary was born November 14, 1952 in Hayward, the son of Charles and Sophie (Premo) Taylor. He attended Kinnemon and Hayward Schools. Gary served in the United States Air Force. He was united in marriage to Laurene Soulier on April 3, 1976 at the Whitefish Presbyterian Church. Gary was a drywall taper and later worked in security at the LCO School and LCO IGA Grocery Store. Gary will be remembered for his sense of humor and quick wit, which no one was immune to. He loved classic cars, playing the super cash, riding his lawn mower, watching the Price is Right, reading and watching westerns and boxing. Gary enjoyed food from White Castle and loved Pepsi and sweets. His favorite music was by the Beatles, Anne Murray, Roy Orbison, Abba and the Bee Gees.
He is survived by wife Laurene; sons Matthew (Sara Scharp) Taylor, Aaron Taylor; daughters Collette Perron, Kay Lynn (Wayne Jensen) Taylor; 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; sister Delores Staples, June (Bill) Rowen, Marge Taylor; many nephews nieces and cousins.
Gary was preceded by parents Charles & Sophie; brothers Charles "Boy" Taylor, Robert Taylor, Donald "Duck" Taylor; sisters Mary "Girl" Miller, Carol Sutton, Judy McNabb and Ruth "Beeb" Apfel.
Time of Remembrance will be held from Noon – 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10th at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward, with a time for sharing at 5:00 p.m. Burial will be in Whitefish Cemetery in the spring.
Honorary casket bearers will be Carlos Sanchez, Aaron "Babeo" Taylor, Matthew Taylor Jr., Chris Theis and Chris "CJ" Valera Jr.
Casket bearers are Wayne Jensen, Burleigh Miller, Ignacio Sanchez, Ward Staples Jr., Rusty Taylor and Bill White.
