Gladyn M. Olson, age 90, of Loretta, WI, passed away peacefully from a stroke August 3, 2016 at Water's Edge Care Center in Hayward.

Gladyn "Glady" Marjorie Olson was born August 24, 1925 in Loretta, WI, the daughter of Leif and June (Hanson) Steiro. She attended Boulder Junction Grade School, Rhinelander High School and University of Wisconsin Madison. Glady became an X-Ray Technician and worked at Lakeland Hospital in Woodruff, WI for many years. She married Richard Marquardt in 1947. They had two sons, Steven and Craig. In 1975 Glady was united in marriage to Everett Olson who passed away in 1984. Glady and her special friend Bud spent 27 great years traveling, dancing and spending their winters in Florida.

She is survived and will be greatly missed by her brother Bob (Marion) Steiro of Green Bay; sister Faith McElvain of Boulder Junction and Florida; sister-in-law Marilyn Steiro of Amasa, MI; special friend Everett "Bud" Cooper of Loretta.

Glady was preceded by her parents Leif & June; sons Steven & Craig; brother Ken Steiro; previous husbands Richard Marquardt & Everett Olson.

A Memorial Service was held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward with Rev. Tony Stoutenburg officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery in Hayward. Visitation was held from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home.

The family would like to thank the staff at Waters Edge Care Center and Hayward Area Memorial Hospital for the wonderful care given to Glady.
