Helen was born February 25, 1921 the daughter of Mike and Sophie Mazur, at their homestead in Drummond. They were immigrants of Poland. Helen was one of 11 children. She enjoyed music and dancing the polka at many parties. She was the best of cooks and hospitable to all that came to her door. She fed birds year around and enjoyed most of the other animals that would also congregate. In her later years she enjoyed company from all walks of life who would drop in just to talk with her. During most of those occasions she would get around to asking "Do you know Jesus?" and follow by stating "It is very important that you do" She was very thankful for all Christ did for her on this earth and knew she would be in Heaven for what He did for her on the cross.
She is survived by her two sons Robert (Glenda) Jalowitz of Hayward; Don (Clara) Jalowitz of Hayward; grandson Bryan (Goshia) Jalowitz of Chicago, IL; and sister Francis Jalowitz of Rice Lake, WI.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband John, parents and many brothers and sisters.
