Helen M. Kritner-Nelson, age 73 of Drummond, died peacefully Thursday, September 6, 2012 at Essentia Health in Duluth, MN after complications from heart and lung failure.
Helen was born on September 3, 1939 in Barron, WI, the daughter of Hans Miller and Mildred Conant. Helen was united in marriage to Ray Nelson, they were married for 34 years.
She is survived by her sons Mark (Jackie Kuhn) Richter and Steve (Michelle) Kritner; grandchildren Tami, Sadie, Halie & Devin; sisters Shirley (Sig) & Margie (Ed); numerous other relatives and friends.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents; husband Ray; brother John; and granddaughter Michelle.
Helen loved to host and entertain her friends and family. Please come and celebrate her life with us on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. There will be a service at 6:00 p.m. with Rev. Gary Hilgendorf officiating. Private family burial will take place at a later date at Arland Independent Cemetery in Barron County.
