Irene Helen Sajdera, age 91, of Radisson, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2024, at her home.

Irene was born May 19, 1933, in Radisson, the daughter of Joseph and Josephine (Hohenzy) Stasik. She was united in marriage to Mitchell Sajdera July 29, 1956. Irene helped with their dairy farm until retirement in 2001. Together they raised three children. Irene enjoyed gardening, puzzling, and crafting. She was a historian for the Radisson community and enjoyed sharing many stories and photographs of early times. Irene was a lifelong member of the Sacred Heart Catholic church in Radisson.

She is survived by her daughters Michelle (Mark) Wortman, Leslie (Jim) Walczak; son Joseph (Renee) Sajdera; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; sisters Evelyn Baldridge & Joyce Olson; and sister-in-law Diane Baker.

Irene was preceded by her husband Mitchell; parents Joseph & Josephine; sister Lucille Benik; and grandson Jesse Walczak.

Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Radisson. Father Sunil Kumar Thumma officiated, and music provided by Marie Ellisckson & Susan Thompson. Burial was in Radisson Cemetery. Visitation was held from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, prior to Mass.

Casket bearers were Callie Moss, Jenny O'Hara, Brett Sajdera, Ryan Sajdera, Logan Thayer & Jodi Wortman.
