James David Kohnke's Obituary
James D. Kohnke, age 62, of Hayward, died Monday, October 24, 2016 at his home.
James David Kohnke was born November 17, 1953 in Milwaukee, WI, the son of Paul and Alice (Calloway) Kohnke. He grew up and attended school in Milwaukee. In 1970 Jim enlisted in the U.S. Army and served until 1973. After his military service Jim worked for the railroad out of Minneapolis for several years. He was united in marriage to Judy Byrne on December 26, 1991 in Milwaukee. Jim then worked as a commercial truck driver for several years until 2000.
He is survived by his wife Judy; sons Michael (Carey) Byrne, Shawn Humphries; daughter Patricia (Chris) Fisher; seven grandchildren; sister Charlene (Lee) Rusk.
Jim was preceded by his parents; nephew Joe Rusk.
A family Memorial Service was held at Jim's home.
