Janet K. Kluxdal, age 75 of Hayward, died Monday, February 17, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Janet was born on July 10, 1938 in Clinton, MN, the daughter of Kenneth and Alvilda (Carlberg) Ross. She attended school and Ortonville, MN and graduated from school in Manchester NH. Jan was united in marriage to Donald Kluxdal on November 22, 1958 in St. Paul, MN. She worked at 3M in St. Paul, MN for 21 years. Jan enjoyed gardening, kayaking, and her walking group. She was an active member of Hayward United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband Donald; sons Timothy Kluxdal, Thomas (Sheila) Kluxdal, Todd (Deb Hawkins) Kluxdal; grandchildren Michel, Justin & Emily; brother Richard Ross.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents.

The Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 21, 2014 at Hayward United Methodist Church in Hayward. Pastor Daniel Fahs will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 20th at the church and again from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.

Honorary bearers will be Michel Kluxdal, Justin Kluxdal, Emily Kluxdal, Elizabeth Babcock, Melissa Martin and Tara Randolph.
