Janice A. Lillyblad, age 80, of Hudson, WI, died Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Hayward Area Memorial Hospital.
Janice Arlene (Zysk) Lillyblad, a loving, caring, and giving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, was born April 2, 1936 in Milliron, MI, the daughter of Edward and Elsie (Robbins) Zysk. Janice was a 1954 graduate of Grand Haven High School and was active in cheerleading there. She volunteered for over 30 years as a founding member of the Rice Lake "Meals on Wheels" program. Janice was quietly instrumental in growing Rice Lake's ice hockey program with her husband Bruce, and worked as a volunteer for the last several years of her always active life at the Lee County Hospital and Pine Island Food Pantry in Florida. Janice enjoyed hunting and fishing with her father Edward. She was half Irish, half Polish, and all Catholic, with an open mind and a giving heart.
She is survived by her sisters Ann and Joanie; brother George; husband Bruce; daughter Natalie; sons Robert, Michael an Eric.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Elsie, and her brother Edward.
A celebration of life for this left-handed Polack was held at her son Michael's farm in Rice Lake, WI, on Friday, August 12th from 12 noon to 5 pm. All people and animals were welcome.
