Jeffrey M. Pagel, age 52, of LCO, died Friday, November 14, 2014 at his home.
Jeffrey Mark Pagel was born on March 15, 1962 in Minneapolis, MN, the son of Gerald and Esther (Wade) Pagel. The last 35 years he lived on the LCO Reservation.
He is survived by his daughter Dakotah Pagel and her Fiancé Douglas Kagigebi; two granddaughters D'siah Miller and Remadee Kagigebi; brothers Jerry Pagel, Wesley Pagel, Leland Pagel; sisters Laurie (Lee) Goette, Cheryl (Jerry) Staples; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents Gerald and Esther; brother Robert Pagel; nephew Leland Pagel Jr.
Tribal Rites was held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 17, 2014 at Big Drum Ceremonial Center with Lee Staples officiating. Burial will be in Historyland Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 16th at Big Drum Ceremonial Center.
Honorary casket bearers will James Baker, Dennis Brabbs, Sparky Buttler, Robert Pagel, Wesley Pagel Jr., Obbie Wade.
Casket bearers will be Lance Goette, Douglas Kagigebi, Jerry Staples, Cricket Wade, Geronimo Wade, Michael "Gezzik" Williams Jr.
